Hello, LiveJournal... How are you? It has been a hellova while.
I'm getting kind of tired of facebook's bullcrap. It works so poorly. And I have been wanting to WRITE more, not just post short updates in the third person. Who is out there still reading and writing on the old LJ?
I played an acoustic gig with Please Do Not Fight tonight at the Borders bookstore at Westfield Oakridge mall in San Jose. I love being surrounded by books. It makes me want to read them all and learn all sorts of crazy things and see through hundreds of different people's mind's eye. I haven't been reading enough lately. Need more reading. I didn't buy anything since I have mounds of smelly, sticky credit card debt, AND I have a $50 gift card to a book store in Menlo Park that was given to me for Christmas by the family of one of my students, which I have yet to go out and use. I haven't done some real good book shopping in a while. I am sure I will feel overwhelmed while trying to figure out what to get. Any suggestions?
I feel gross and want to take a shower before bed. To much instrument and equipment lugging. Tomorrow I have six students to teach, awkwardly spread about the day from 10:45am to 8pm. Maybe I'll use one of the breaks between lessons to go book shopping.
