1. I never buy coffee but today, I want something warm because it's hot as fuck outside and the lady that shares the AC vent on our hallway (our AC is weird, there are thermostats in random rooms that control other offices and we have had to do months of research to match the thermostats with the offices) - we have it set on 68 because a couple of weeks ago, it was 77 in our offices because of a glitch. Anyway - coffee - I like getting something already sweetened because if I buy it plain and put creamer and sugar, etc - I can never taste it because it is too hot and end up getting back to my office and needing more sugar. Anyway - I got a 'classic mocha' from the new extra expensive coffee place in our Caf (Seattle Coffee, which I guess is imitation Starbucks? IDK.) They put whipped cream on it and a little bar of chocolate! It was so cute! I don't know why this brought me such glee.

2. My NP is starting chemo in two weeks. :( Yesterday was her birthday and she was really depressed. She said that her family was playing parcheesi and they all started crying. I have forbidden her to play parcheesi anymore because it is obviously evil. I have been mailing her cards every day with funny macros on them and she said that they make her happy. She bought me a braided bracelet that means 'friendship' and it made me sad. I can't tie it on myself and it makes me sad.

3. That creepy bald guy totally stole that other guy's pea puree. >:[

4. I have a feeling this coffee is going to jack me up. Hm.

5. Is it just me or is Shark Week disappointing this year? Mandy and I watched a show where they made this big plexiglass tube to find out if sharks could back up. Um. How does this help me when I am being chased by a shark? I did like the one where the guy made an animatronic (is that the right word?) turtle and the sharks at it. Then he made this fancy seal. And the shark ate it. LOL. Research dollars at work! Then the guy threw a raw turkey off the boat to see if the shark would eat it. I mean, OF COURSE ITS GOING TO EAT IT. OMG. Then he threw a ham into the water to see if he'd eat it. Then a license plate. (It was on a string so it wasn't litter.) I wanted to throw the stupid man in. Mandy and I were not amused. I miss Steve Irwin. :(

6. I am listening to "This Will Destroy You" (band name) and the song is "There Are Some Remedies Worst Than The Disease". Sad.

7. I wrote new Merlin fic over on my dreamwidth, I need to link it up but I am listless. I'm getting lazy with my writing and it makes me sad. It takes me longer to finish things and the writing is getting worse. I'm actually considering trying to find a writing group like some of my flisters, but the whole anxiety thing may be a roadblock as I would have to leave my house. I wonder if there are online writing clubs. Hm. I mean, I have the "YA NOVEL" (HA) that I started working on but I'm under no illusion that it's actually viable, plus, plot is hard! Not even the plot, but the filler. I'm thinking of starting from scratch and creating some characters and getting to know them before I find them a story. I think I need to know the characters before I stick them in a story. My villains have no real motivation and my protagonists are too nice and unlayered. SAD. I can get all the tattoos in the world but I will never have anything else to show for the 31 years I've been alive. SO SAD.
