This is what I've been doing the past couple of months, and I've been enjoying it very much! Lots of photos...
I LOVE this scarf! I used a stich I found in a crochet book called double eyelet. The yarn is called
Paris Rainbow, and I used the red/orange color.
I cut my head off because I had a really stupid look on my face...
I used
this pattern to make this hat for my boyfriend. I made the mistake of letting him pick out the yarn, he wanted the Lion Chenille Thick & Quick, which made the hat HUGE! I ended up having to take a bunch of rows out because it was getting way too big for him. It's still kinda big, but he says it's more comfy that way (he likes to sleep in it). He wants a white pom-pom at the end, so I'll have to make him one soon.
I made this
shawl, although I'm not sure if I like it too much. I kinda wish I had made it in the eggplant or dark brown
color instead. I suppose I could always make another one...but that yarn's pretty pricey!
Again, a stupid look ;-)
This is a blanket I've been working on for a LONG time. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my boyfriend...haha
A close-up of the pattern. It's basically just clusters, chains, increases and decreases.
A hat I made using
this pattern. It was WAY too big tho', so I ended up having to take out some rows, which gimped up the shell border a bit (you can see how the two shells to the right of the star are too close together) , but it still looks okay.
One last project! This was for my friend's b-day, I used
this pattern. The only problem I had with it was the pocket flap. It wasn't working right and I didn't think you'd be able to use the pocket very easily, so I just made a rectangle and attached it at the top only, then made a bow closure instead.
I kinda wish I had made the bow with black yarn instead...
With some hooks. I can't wait to make one for myself!
