Apparently I have a lot of questions today.
So, I got my hands on a copy of Blackpool and it has now been consuming my brain for almost a week. I had no idea I missed David Tennant so much until I started watching this Saturday night. I don't care that all his mannerisms seem to be exactly the same in this and Doctor Who, in fact, I think I prefer it that way.
This happens! This exists in the world and I've watched it more times than I can keep track of. How I didn't discover this until now I have no idea.
I also got my paws on Casanova. I'm looking forward to that immensely, but I'm not sure it can top Blackpool. We'll have to see.
Also, it was pointed out to me today that Pia Guerra, one of the illustrators of Y: The Last Man worked on the Doctor Who comic, The Forgotten and now I really wanna read it, plus it has all ten incarnations of the Doctor in it. Have any of you read it? Is it any good? Should I buy the trade?
Uh, speaking of rediscovering how much I enjoy David Tennant. I want a fic where the Doctor (any incarnation really) uses the Sonic Screw Driver as a sex toy. Don't ask me why this thought titillates me so, but I'm sure someone out there has written it, right? Surely my knowledgeable flist knows?
Speaking of desiring fics, I'm thinking about participating in Yuletide this year because surely I can convince someone to write Moon or The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay fic if I write them something decent in return. Right? That's how yuletide works? Once again, I was wondering if said flist had any sage advice for me before I partake in this daunting adventure.
