Back to work
Well, the week just flew by. We planned to get the decorating done first and have some days out towards the end of the week, but you know how those little jobs just escalate. Re-fitting the wardrobes took the best part of three days, plus another day to sort out the kids junk and put it all away again. (Well not all. I got a fair few bags ready for charity shops, and just allowed the kids a quick review to make sure I hadn't thown out anything too precious.) Thursday was our only day out. We took a steam train ride down the coast, did a bit a walking, eating out ( a luxury for us) and window shopping. I can't remember the last time hubby and I went out as a couple so it was a very pleasant day.
Kids are now back from camp, I'm still working through the washing pile and I went back to work this morning. First day back's not too bad; it takes an hour to get through my inbox, another hour to catch up on news, progress and gossip which just leaves an hour and a half to think about what I'm supposed to be working on. Tomorrow will be harder.
