but shouldnt the chief justice be selected from one of the current supreme court judges? i feel as america is about to get hornswaggled. i dont trust that sneak of a wife of roberts, so opposed to a womans right to choose yet couldnt be bothered to bring a child into this world on her own. roberts himself appears on the outside, and does it oh so well, as a slightly harmless onservative who values grammar and rules. i think hes been kept and groomed by the rightwing powerbrokers over the years and he is only about to be unleashed. thats why his record is acceptable. hes written from the right, but not so far as to scare the lot of us. and now, kinda unsurprisingly, hes going to sneak into the top spot over other seasoned judges and will be the judge assigning cases and directing the court. were more screwed than we know. and now we'll see a slightly more conservative to replace o'connor, probably that ag psycho gonzales.
