Writer's Block: Repeat After Me...

Wow doesn't this question make me think of high school.
My surname is Hawkeswood. I really don't think it's that difficult to pronounce.
But maybe people would fine it easier if the 'e' was gone.

During high school I've heard these different variations from people reading my name on a class role.

Hungerford
Haywood
Hawkesberry

Well I'm sure Deckhart would be complaining about his name if he could. I mean Deckard. I mean.. Lockhart. Lol.

People used to wonder why I was so anxious when a brand new teacher was calling the class role for the first time. It's funny cos this guy in my class was called Loudon and the teacher called out "London". Seriously the teachers were so dumb.
