Okay, I'm actually in front of my computer for more than 5 minutes today!
Things have been... shall I say, interesting. Raquel and I are trying very hard to put ourselves in good places by the fall. She's getting her real estate agent license, I'm getting my property apraiser license. I'm trying to get out of my mother's house (4 months has been too long), she's trying to get out of her mother's house. Speaking of which, we hear back today whether or not we get a townhouse over in the Temple Terrace area. After a month of thinking about it and considering it, I decided it would work out very well for both of us if we got a place together. The timing was perfect for both of us and it just feels like the right thing to do. So, we shall find out soon if we got the townhouse we want. Its right by Outback on 56th and Fowler.
The property apraiser thing... its something new. I have to be on the job for 2 years before I can get fully licensed. But after that, I can be an independant contractor and the money is just ridiculous... especially if I get into doing commercial property. The earning potential as a trainee isn't that bad either. It would be about the same if I were doing my computer thing for some big company.
Look for the new Stalling Dawn website to come out in about a month with message board, downloads, products and all. I'm in the middle of working out a deal with those guys right now, and it seems to me that its a sure thing. I'm actually meeting with them tonight about a few design ideas.
Raquel's ex-bf is an absolute idiot. He's been somewhat trying to win her back, but the fool goes about it by pissing her off instead of trying to show that he really does care about her. I'm not worried about him winning her back in the least. I might be a bit more concerned if I had any respect for the guy's critical thinking capabilities. Not to mention that Raquel seems happy with the relationship she has with me and this isn't something to just throw away. Things have been pretty intense over the past week or two, but I think its reached a breaking point yesterday. We shall see. Despite the nuscance of her ex, things have been great with Raquel and I.
