Is there like some unwritten law that phone companies have to suck? I
swear, they can never do anything right. I went in to Alltel to get a
new charger for my car ('cause I broke mine when i flung it around
trying to get it out and it hit the dashboard and shattered. Oops). So
I go in, find what I need, and then stand there a minute, and the
hostess lady or whatever you call her, is all "Can I help you?" I tell
her I just want to buy the charger. She looks around for a minute, then
says "Okay, that'll be a half hour wait." !!!!! So of course, I'm all
"Just to buy this?!!" And she says, "I'm sorry, I don't have any reps
open." OMG! How stupid is that? They should have a cashier set up or
something for the people like me who just want to buy one thing and be
gone! I was NOT going to sit around for a half hour just to buy a
stupid car charger. Screw that. So I left and drove clear across town
to another one (by Wal-Mart, which I needed to go to anyway, but that's
not the point). And that one took me right away and rang me up.
And the phone companies wonder why they get a bad rep! It's called service, people!! Try it sometime!
