DUMBASS SHIT FOR DUMBASS MRS. KINCAID.

Hello boys and girls...Well I'm here today to talk to you about the magical world of guitar playing and its components. We all know that there are three basic guitars; the acoustic, electric, and bass, now bass guitars also come in acoustic as well, but now I'm getting off track, see. Acoustic guitars are what you want to start playing on if you want to get into guitars. We all know that for a person to start getting into guitars you have to be influenced by someone who plays guitar like Roo or somebody who can actually play one like Angus Young of AC/DC or Bradley Nowell of Sublime, one of my faves bro!!! Ok, back to the subject...now the acoustic guitar has somewhere around ten different parts: The upper anatomy is your headstock, your headstock consists of your tuning keys and your nut, also on the upper anatomy is your neck, on the neck are your strings, your fretboard, frets, and your fretmarkers or inlays. Moving onto the lower anatomy or body; this is the most important part of the acoustic because of the soundhole. Now this makes the notes ring out loud so you don't have to play with an amplifier. Right across from your soundhole is your pickguard, this is so you don't scratch the finish on the guitar. Lower on the guitar is the bridge and saddle that holds the strings to the bottom of the guitar where the bridge pins are located. Basically, these are all the parts of the acoustic guitar. Now when it comes to playing music on a guitar, there are two standards of reading music. 1. The hard way or music notation or 2. Tablature, now tablature is basically shorthand for music notation. It is a series of numbers instead of notes on regular music. This makes songwriting and songlearning very easy and accessable. Ok, now..when you're playing your guitar you can either play chords or notes. Chords are a series of notes strummed in one beat. Notes are just single tones plucked out seperately. Playing the guitar is something that I've grown quite passionate about over the past few months. My guitar used to sit in the case in the corner of my room, but now its always out somewhere being played. When I first got my guitar, I didn't know anything so I never played it and never took the time to learn, but now that I'm learning playing is all I want to do...
