well i spent the last 2 days at college, on an orientation thingy. it was really really fun...
well it all started at 9pm monday night. i woke up and went 2 work. 11 to 7. problem was i had 2 leave the area by like 6:30 2 make it 2 school on time. fortunately my awesome boss amy came in 2 hours early 2 cover me. i owe her bigtime. i went home, showerd and shaved, and left for andrews house. he will be my roommate at school for the first year. we went up there, arrived an hour early, so we went 2 see our friend cj. we woke him up and we went 2 see his room. hes in the honors dorm 4 some reason so his room was nicer then ours will be. neway we went to the union and checked in, went got some breakfast, and sat down in the wrong room lol. we went 2 the right place and got lectured on being active (joining clubs and the like, i was like whatever lol). then we split into our small groups. i was group Q. the icebreaker was we all had 2 associate ourselves with a food we would bring 2 a football game. i was clay coke lol. it was fun. i met an awesome girl named ashley and the group talked about high school vs college and courses and ap credits. i felt dumb cuz alot of these kids have like 20 credits, i have 3 lol. but i didnt have the opportunities they had. then we went to grouple about our majors. i went 2 pre health and health and human professions. my advisors are cool and i cant wait 2 get more advice from them. we went back 2 our small groups and ate lunch. then we worked on our courses we wanted 2 take. almost all of mine were preselected 4 my major. i was done like a half hour early so i was talking 2 ppl and helping cuz im a good guy like that. then we went 2 2 assemblies, one on being active and one was a q and a with houaing, financial, sports and gator 1 card ppl. then we got an address frm the vp os student affairs, saying welcome and congrats. then an assembly on safety i fell asleep during. (*keep in mind ive been awake since 9pm the day b4 and its now 5 pm, im tired as fuck. redbull is keeping me awake now lol)...
then we checked in at the place we were staying. my room mate was this weird german kid that spent the whole night working on his schedule. well then i went and found andrew and ate dinner. then we all went 2 this retarded skit show. it was funny and dumb but it covered issues like sex, stds, rape, drinking, time management and the like. then we got back into the small groups and discussed the themes. then we went back. many kids were working on their schedules. i just went 2 get ready 4 the party in the basement. andrew didnt go cuz he was 2 cool but i ran into ashley and her friend liz. they were dancing, i was watching and laughing. liz is awesome. we ended up on their floor playing cards. i felt a huge connection with liz. i kno ashley and i will get along, shes cool and we have the same major. i got both of their fone numbers and i evenually crashed. i couldnt sleep, i got maybe 4 hours (and this was 1 am, after being awake for 28 hours). i woke at like 5 30 and watched tv and took a shower, left the dorm at 7, walked around. they have a skatepark and a roller hockey rink! isnt that kickass? i went 2 the bookstore and played on the comps there then got in line 2 get my gator 1 id card. didnt take 2 long, bad pic but arent they all? then i met andrew and we went and ate and then went 2 wait 2 officially regester 4 classes. i saw liz and we hugged and she left. i got the classes i needed. it will be an easy first semester. ill be able 2 work plenty and able 2 get used 2 the landscape. ill be okay...
i got home, stayed up 4 a while, crashed bout 4 am. woke up at 6 pm. 14 hours of sleep and im still yawning lol...
