House-sitting
So this week I'm house-sitting for friends of mine. They have three dogs (Sedona, the Dalmatian and Koby and Bella, weimaraners), a kick-ass deck with a nice backyard and a big TV with couple hundred channels and a quite a variety of movies. I love their dogs. ‘Cept Sedona makes me nervous. She’s 14 years old and is having significant trouble with her back legs and honestly I’m afraid she’s gonna die while they are gone. Any who, I was warned I'd probably be sleeping with them all most likely. Night one, I only had Sedona and Koby. And Sedona kept me up all night. Whimpering, walking around in circles on the hardwood floor. Lisa and Mel will be stopping home for 1 night on Sunday before being gone for a week again, I told myself if every night was like the first, I was going to have to tell them I cant do it anymore. Night two: Besides being pushed to the edge of the bed, and having Koby snuggled up aganist me it went really well. Course I'm still tired as hell cause I couldnt NOT wake up every 2 hours, which on a side note is getting old.
Yesterday I got some much needed Browncoat company. Hadnt seen my them since April and now I get to see them 2 weeks in a row cause I'm going to the 'dig next weekend. Nothing like Browncoats to help relieve stress :)
And now I'm off to work. Which I'm hoping isn't too busy. My head is killing me and I'm tired.
