My cats are adorable. Cute and fluffy, as Stitch would say. They’re also brilliant in their own way. Have you ever owned or spent time around a cat? They always seem to be in control. If nothing else, they’ve figured out how to live the best life possible. Just the other day, I realized I can take their little life lessons and apply it to myself.

Want to live life like a cat? Here are my cats’ top 10 life lessons.

1) Clean your paws regularly.

2) A good grooming can brighten your day.

3) If you can’t eat it, play with it, sleep on it, or hunt it, it’s not worth keeping around.

4) Claws should be used for hunting, not for playing.

5) Growl like you mean it.

6) A good stretch works out all the kinks and stress.

7) Keep your daily schedule simple and stress-free. Example: Eat, Sleep, Groom, Eat, Sleep, Groom, Hunt, Eat, Sleep, Groom.

8) Even when we are enemies, we can still be friends. (Examples: http://cheezburger.com/6494576640, http://cheezburger.com/6210569216, http://cheezburger.com/6188640000)

9) Ignore the distractions and focus on what’s important. Otherwise, that bug might escape.

10) A power nap may not solve all problems, but it can sure makes you feel better.

And the most important life lesson they’ve taught me?

If you want the bird bad enough, you can teach yourself how to fly. (http://cheezburger.com/4874165760, http://cheezburger.com/6536700928)
