26 Days
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving.
My roommate Malin and I have decided to take it upon ourselves to cook an entire Thanksgiving.
Oy Vey! I can cook a LOT, but I have never tackled a turkey and worry immensely that I will ruin it. My roommate, although very well intended, is lacking cooking experience so I am giving her more simple tasks while I tackle the rest. Ack. Should be interesting. I am currently baking the dessert I planned for the menu, pumpkin cheesecake.
My mood as of lately is ridiculously positive. I love the holidays so much and love how happy they make me, even with all the stress and deadlines for grad school and bills I have, it just does not seem to affect my holiday spirit and I LOVE that.
All the baking and planning of gifts and knowing I get to be with my family soon, seems like nothing can bring me down and I hope that stays that way.
Only 26 more days until I'm back in the northwest!!!!
Finished my Ted Bundy book and now I'm reading another book by Ann Rule (the author of the Ted Bundy book) It's a collection of the most heinous killers she's written about. So this is book 11. I want my next book to be a Christmas book, because I'm lame and obsessed with Christmas.
Ooh my cheesecake's done, need to take it out of the oven. Suppose that is all for now.
