Credit card update - and News about grandma
I forgot to do a credit card update with everything that was going on.
As of 12/21/05 our credit card total debt balance was $4,664.09. We had a set back of $500 this month.
On 12/13/05 my grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, it has spread to her lymph nodes, and there was cancerous fluid leaking into her lungs that had to be constantly drained so that it didn’t spread to her lungs. They did her first chemo treatment on 12/16/05, then one on 12/23/05 - the first one went great, the second one she had a reaction to…her next one I believe is tomorrow 1/6/06. We are praying for her, I can’t stand the thought of life without her. My grandmother raised me and she is not only my grandmother she is one of my best friends. We talk on the phone for at least 1 hour every Sunday…there are not many people I can talk to for 1 hour straight on the phone that frequently…conversation is just so good with her, she’s such a wonderful person. I haven’t been able to get her to talk for more then 10 minutes since all of this happened, but I understand, I frequently call to check on her, but don’t keep her on the phone long.
We are flying out to see her on the 19th of January. She doesn’t know it, no one does, we are going to completely surprise her, she thinks I am coming in June, little does she know I am coming a few times. I can’t wait to see the look on her face when I show up at her door. This is the reason for the $500 set back on the credit cards, and it is worth every penny!
