(AKA the post it took a half hour to finish after it's intial posting...)
So I finally managed to get my computer working again. I had to sacrifice the use of my new drive (which has Win XP on it), but this is only a temporary solution anyway. At least I am able to get back online from the comfort of my own room. Now, on with the update:
- The rest of Baycon went pretty well, but it was good to be back home nonetheless. It was great spending some occasional time with

Sarah J.... she is definately a cool person to know. I see why ![](http://www.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
Gwynne has been friends with her for so long
- Speaking of Gwynne, she and I had some issues to sort out throughout the weekend and spilling over to post con as well. I was a total dickwad to her over some truly stupid reasons, and I really don't blame anyone who said certain things they said... Things were truly dark, but now it's like the sun has broken through and we're enjoying each other's company more than ever. I'm gonna say it again: I really love that Gwynnie girl of mine!
- Go see "Shrek 2"! Now!! And the following movie as well...
- I had a great time last night watching "Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban " with the aforementioned lovely Gwynne, not to mention

Darrin. HP 3 was, in my opinion, even better than the first 2, and now I am even more excited about Goblet of Fire. At least I have Spider-Man 2 and an assload of other summer movies to keep me occupied in the meantime.
- Oh! My benefits are going to kick in on July 1st! And afterward it's complete physical/fix the Jason time...
- The chances of me going to Comic-con are now slim to none, as a talk with my boss confirmed that I wouldn't be able to get the time off. Something about having to work 40 hours a week, and that I'd have to wait until after my "anniversary" to take another vacation. Oh well, maybe next year...
- For those who don't know, Caltrain is once again offering weekend service. And this weekend and the next rides are totally free! This makes me very happy, as it means more freedom to see my sweetie at Lemon House (and no

James, I don't mean you, despite that DVD loan).
- Hmmm. I suppose it would be in bad taste to do my Ronald Reagan impression anytime in the near future... as if it wasn't before he passed on.
Update Looks like I spoke typed too soon... I have to do this edit from the downstairs computer as mine has completely failed. No Win XP, no Win 98... nothing.
