wow what a night- i got home from class today n got a phone call from my mom who was crying telling me i needed to come to the hospital in iowa city because my grandma was there--- of course i panicked n drove like a crazy person over there- luckily no run in with the police man-- got there n waited in a little waiting room forever for the doctors to come in and tell us that she had complete heart block and like "electricity" wasnt getting to it n so her kidneys failed and she lost oxygen to her brain for a while--- but that they really wont know exactly what happened until tomorrow--- she is now in ICU on a respirator and heavily sedated so we havent been able to talk to her--- well we have talked to her- she just hasnt been able to respond back--- they said she woke up and opened her eyes once--- so that is a very good sign that there was very little if any actual brain damage from the lack of oxygen- so now i guess we just play the waiting game and see what tomorrow brings-
* about 10 minutes after i got home from the hospital my phone started ringing and flashing Mathias (matt)--- i had been so sad n crying and everything all night- i instantly felt better talking to him--- he can make me laugh more than anyone ive ever talked to--- wow- i think this guy is the coolest guy on the face of the planet--- i was supposed to go see him tonight in Cedar Falls because he had a meeting with Adam at Ritual to show him his portfolio cuz adam is offering a job to him-- he wasnt able to make it--- and obviously I wasnt either--- so i think ima jus hang out with him sometime this weekend..... im still smilin--- haha maybe its because the last thing he said to me before goodbye was-- "uhm im sooooo sorry to do this to you but i just drank a bunch of nyquil drowsy stuff n im like passing out right now as we speak" hehe--- dork "but u think its cute" that i do :)
