le update
The 28th was my 25th birthday, but I woke up not feeling well, and that persisted throughout the day. I was quite distraught and decided to reschedule my birthday for this past Saturday evening and Eli agreed.
We went to a restaurant in Lexington called "Bella Notte" and it was very, very delicious (the food, not the restaurant). Eli picked the restaurant, but I had no clue where we would end up...as usual he made a good choice. Sometimes I feel like the world's luckiest gal. He is so amazing...*gush*. For my bday drink I had an amaretto sour and it was grrrrrrreat. We then went to a movie in Richmond, and let me just tell you, Deja Vu with Denzel is probably the BEST movie I have seen in 2006. SO GOOD...go see it.
On my actual bday, I did get to talk to most everyone I wanted to, so that was nice. My dad called me and for those of you who know me, know that is not something that happens terribly often, so it was a good thing.
This coming weekend I plan on going to Hamilton to see people and get my car. I get to go bridesmaid shopping with my PO!! I am so excited! It will also be the first time I drive on the highway by myself so pray for me that I don't freak out...lol. I am kind of curious about something...I have to get my tags renewed, but I don't live in Ohio anymore and neither do either of my parents, so I don't have an address to give. So, I am not sure how that is going to work out. Maybe I should call up there and see...that's a thought!!!
School is still going well...I HOPE to end up with three A's, but we will see. I am not sure about my Form and Meaning of Lit. class...At midterm I had an A, but I don't know about now. Maybe if I ace the final and get a good grade on the last paper that was due I will get an A...hopefully. I am fairly certain I will get an A in Speech Comm. That class is really not stressful at all and I have never gotten anything lower than an A in there, so I am not too worried. My other class is Playwriting, and I have done well in there...I may end up with a B+ and I would be okay with that. SO, overall the grades are in good shape! Next semester I will be taking 5 classes, so it will be slightly more stressful, but I like all the classes I am signed up for. I am looking forward to it quite a bit. The math class I signed up for may end up getting canceled since only 4 people signed up. I really hope it doesn't. The name of it is Environmental Issues: Math Modeling using the Computer so it is ways to measure how much energy we use and practical ways to record it. I am interested in learning about things like that. If they cancel that, I will be taking the Understandings of Christianity. I wanted to hold off taking that as long as possible because it is new class and they are working the glitches out this year. Either way I will have 5 classes, so that will get me the credits I need.
Scotland is going to be a great time!! We have only had one meeting and it seems like a pretty good group that is going. We will be doing a lot of walking when we go to Iona, so my aerobic dance class will hopefully help me keep in shape. I am SOOO looking forward to it.
For Christmas break I will be in Florida again. Eli and I will be working with his parents to make some extra money. It will be nice to have money...I haven't had any in sooo long. Its not like I need tons, but just to have a little bit in the savings account is a wonderfully secure feeling that I miss.
I will be starting a new job in Short Term (January). I will be in the Theatre as an electrician so I will learn a lot about lighting and electrical work and that will come in handy for me to get a job when I graduate. Not that I am ready to leave yet...oh no. I like Berea.
Ahhh...blogging is good...I hope this one doesn't get eaten...lol
