I'm the guy who originally "remastered" the demos and posted them in this community, so yeah, what you said rings a bell.
Sadly, I lost my original attempts at remastering those songs quite some time ago. However, since you asked, I'm going to try fixing #8 up again using some new filters and plugins I've acquired since then.

I haven't listened to them yet (I'm on a different computer) but thank you SO MUCH, and I may get back to you later on how good it sounds haha.

No but seriously, thanks a lot for enhancing it again just for this post. That's really nice of you.

Also, by "hissing", do you mean that sound in the background that, to me, sounds like it mimicks (or maybe it is) the sound of a running film projector? Because I love that addition to Untitled 08, for some reason. It sounds neat.

As for the "lossless" versions of the demos (by lossless I'm assuming you mean the shitty ones that everybody used to have), I'm really not sure where you could get those. Try LimeWire/FrostWire/SoulSeek? I'm sure they probably have both versions of the demos floating around available for download. It might take you a while to find them though, of course.

I got my demos originally from the website that's posted on the sidebar of this community, but I don't think the links work anymore (they don't for me, anyway). Try it anyway? Reply

i know exactly what youre talking about.. because i, too, was missing demo 8 for a while.

there was quite a bit of bickering in that thread as i recall

yeah, someone had linked me to the cleaned up mp3s awhile back but the link wound up not working. they'd be nice to have if anyone can upload them.
hey, I recorded 2 Jesse/Kevin acoustic shows in their entirety and I'm letting everyone have them. so it'd be nice if someone can up the enhanced demos for me :)
