Working father's day in a restaurant really sucks. I have to admit, I've always been a little resentful of father's day because by father has been gone for a while, and growing up without my father made me a little envious of families who had both parents. I guess it's natural.
So, revelation time. Most of my family is in the area for my brother's wedding. So I'm talking to my oldest sibling and his wife and the conversation turns to me and college. I'm not as straight-laced as my family has made me out to be. Since it was just them and I, I discussed things i normally keep quiet about, like my fraternity and my social habits. They actually took it with relief, since I wasn't as uptight as I was when I was younger.
"Well, since you're more laidback now, I guess i should tell you that when you visited Marla and I when you were twelve, we thought it would be funny to slip sone Jack into the Coca-Cola you were drinking one night. In case anyone hasn't told you yet, you get really giggly and really sleepy when you've had alcohol."
Well, thanks for sharing...
