Family,
This week has been more or less uneventful. Which is good and bad. We tracted a lot because the weather was so poor, but thats okay, we taught a really nice man on saturday given he has heard of us before and ˝knows everything˝ (Walker and I love those people, when they say that they know everything we usually give them just a flabbergasted amazed look, we're going to think of a sweet math equation or something to ask them when they say that. I almost asked the man if I am being transfered from Karlovac, but I held my tongue). It's okay, we are still working on finding, we don't have enough investigators in our pool right now, so we need to get finding, but croats don't leave their bedrooms if it rains, only those that have to work. Even if they own their own shop they won't open if the weather is their favorite. Anyway so thats been sort of a challenge. It's alrigth though.
We went to Rijeka this week for Ema's baptism. Rydalch performed that ordinance, it was his first and it was beautiful. She's been waiting for whatever reason, then president put the Sisters down there, they threw it down on her and bang, she's not a member. There was some drama with Elma, but that is expected, as sad as it is she was invited to not come to the baptism, and she may have needed to see it, but she just can't be trusted to not blow up and make a scene, espefcially when there were 8 Elders there ( a few of which she thinks are really good looking making the drama factor exponential). It was a beautiful baptism though. She was confirmed yesterday by Elder Hanks, the senior couple elder there. His wife is the best. Sister Hanks, oh man, she's hilarious, she flirts with the missionaries so much, it's dang funny. She loves me cause I love her food hehe.
We had a really sweet experience yesterday. President was here, but he got to spend some time here with us, infact we got to have he and Sister Weight for lunch too. That was awesome, given, Elder Nerdin had to go and retire to do the dishes for a bit, but we still got to bask in the glory of Weight for about 3 hours. He told Elder Moore that he would be staying in Karlovac a little longer, which means he and I are either pulling a ten monther or I am leaving. Which means I will either got to Zagreb, Rijeka or Osijek, haha, there are probably Elder Moving in all three of these, and they happen to be the only three cities I haven't served in. Interesting. We'll see. I am way nervous now for this transfer, I had sort of prepared myself mentally to stay in Karlovac, and that was pretty much 100% until President said that to Elder Moore yesterday. We will see what happens, because if I stay that means I would serve at the minimum 1 year here in Karlovac. Elder Moore only has 4 months left, so if President leaves both of us here much longer he'll have a problem. The other thing is right now there are tons of Elder that have been in their respective cities for a long period of time. We'll see what happens. It's probably going to be a big transfer though.
Ha. I fell last week on my bike right after email. I hit my wrist but all is well I am happy healthy and it was a weak enough spill I was laughing before I hit the ground so its otay. We didn't tell Sister Saar though, I didn't want to be recommended to an orthopedic surgeon. Sorry. Bad Joke. Anyway I think thats all from the Adraitic this week. I love you all and hope you are all happy and healthy and staying out of trouble. Smile!
