Will's eyelids flutter and slowly open, his lips curving into a drowsy smile as he looks up at Bran's shadowy face. "Mmm...what time is it?"

"I have no idea," Bran admits, nestling down next to him again, resting his face in the hollow of Will's shoulder. "Late, anyway. Middle of the night. I didn't mean to wake you."

"S'all right," Will says, moving a hand to Bran's back, fingertips lightly tracing his spine. "Everything all right? Can't you sleep?"

"I was asleep. Woke up," Bran explains unnecessarily, shivering at the touch. "I'd rather look at you."

Will closes his eyes again, chuckling softly. "You're silly," he observes, smiling and nestling Bran closer to him. "You should go back to sleep. You can look at me tomorrow."

"Mm," Bran murmurs, not entirely affirmative, pressing closer to Will underneath the blanket. "I could do that. But sometimes it is nice to enjoy all the things that go along with sleep without actually doing it. Being curled up with you in a warm quiet bed, for instance."

"You are silly," Will repeats, moving his hand up to play with Bran's hair. "You do that every night. Why is it so remarkable now, in the middle of the night, tonight?" His tone is fond and teasing.

"Now," Bran answers, giving the question far more weight than it probably warrants, and pushing himself up again onto one elbow to gaze down at Will, "I am awake, there is a full moon, and 'm certain this bed is particular soft tonight. It is worth noting, you know."

Will blinks, looking up at him doubtfully. "So you woke me up from what was a very pleasant sleep to observe that the bed is soft?" It's difficult not to laugh, really.

Bran pokes out his tongue. "I said I was sorry for waking you up. I didn't mean to."

"It's all right, love," Will answers, finally giving in to quiet laughter. "I don't mind. Much."

Will's laughing at him, which means Bran has no choice but to kiss him. "You can go back to sleep whether or not I do," he points out.

"Keep doing that and I won't want to," Will answers with a somewhat wicked grin. Not that they hadn't had quite an enjoyable evening before falling asleep.

"Oho," Bran laughs, and does it again. "Your powers of persuasion are strangely...well, flawed or spot on, depending on what you were attempting there."

"Well, I'm awake now, aren't I?" Will observes, twining his arms tightly around Bran's chest as he initiates the next kiss.

There will never be a time, Bran reflects--nor has there ever been one--when he will ever be able to resist Will. Especially in moments like this, which with one kiss has abruptly graduated from an exceptionally lovely moment to an absolutely perfect one.
