Yeah, so trash smells bad, big Effen deal. Consider the perks:
* Full time work in an unionized environment
* A benefits package that rivals the automotive industry
* 17.60 hourly starting pay, which goes up to 21.70 after 6 months of employment.
* 4 day work week, every Friday off.
* Safety boot and uniform allowance after completion of your probationary period
* Job security, hey, doesn't matter how the economy is, theres always going to be garbage to pick up.
* 2006/2007 model vehicles with such luxuries as air conditioning. Why am i making a big deal about that? Throw bags for an hour in the 30 celcius heat and you'll know why.
And other things.
Yeah, so theres a few downsides to the job, but seriously can you find a better deal than this?
Downsides include:
* Working in the Heat, Cold and Rain
* Working your ass off for the first 60 days of your employment (probation)
* Working late, not really having a choice for your first 60 days
And other things that I wont mention...
