Mar 27, 2007 01:54

Regional Police Homicide investigators have arrested 2 Brampton men for the murder of 27 year-old Brian Wainman.

WAINMAN was pronounced dead at the scene after being found suffering from obvious signs of trauma in his Church Street East apartment shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2007.

Donald Corey Martin, 18 years-old, and Anthony Daniels Medwid, 18 years-old, have both been charged with 2nd Degree Murder. They will be appearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton today for a first appearance.

It is believed Wainman was killed sometime late Friday night or early Saturday morning.
"One of these individuals took great pleasure in inflicting injury to the deceased," Peel police Homicide Insp. Norm English said.
"It was a brutal and senseless act against a helpless individual who offered no resistance."
Cops need to hear from anyone else who was at Wainman's final bash Friday night. If you were on the invite list, call (905) 453-2121, ext. 3205, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
