I am in love with my hairdresser.
I didn't even have someone I would call my hairdresser up until yesterday because no way was I letting someone cut my hair on a regular basis.
But oh, things have changed.
He understood what I wanted done with my hair. In fact, he saw my hair and practically suggested what I was thinking in my head

Hairdressers do get offended.

When I got my long hair cut, there was a huge knot at the back. I said "Yeah maybe you should...cut it out or something" but she thought it was easy enough to comb out.

So I was fighting back the tears while she ripped out my hair for about ten minutes. To this day I still believe it was payback for not brushing my hair.

Clearly your recent experience with a hairdresser was far more pleasant than my own. Although I'll admit he did a decent job, as I *did* get complimented by no less than two attractive women within the following week. But still. Still. Hello.

Oh I remember reading that, and I sympathised muchly. EVIL, that is what some of them are. And you sit there just feeling crappy while they have their way with your hair.
I feel lucky to have escaped wrath this time.
