Click to viewA symbol is only a symbol if you give it meaning and power. Over the past century the world has turned the Olympic torch into a symbol for the joining of the world in peace and harmony.
As the Olympics is meant to be a gathering of all mankind and the Olympics works towards human dignity and world peace, interfering with the torch, the symbol of the Olympics, shows the unrest many citizens of the Earth have with the Olympic Games being hosted by a nation with a constant history of human rights abuses and no efforts to reform. In that regard, I support the protests and the interference.
