hot sauce
I went out in the city again on friday. It was the usual group of me, Brittany, Lauren and Kim, but Noah from work came too. We started just hanging out at Brittany's place and drinking, then we went out to a couple of bars. At the second place, after many drinks, we somehow (we don't really remember)decided that taking a bottle of hot sauce (they were on the table) over to a guy and being like, "hey, can I interest you in some hot sauce?" would be a good pick-up line. Then on a dare (yes, we're 12), I was chosen to try it. I went over to this table of 2 guys and offered them the hot sauce while our table watched hysterically. The guys were really confused, but somewhat amused. Actually, one of them (the nice one) thought it was funny and the other one (the jerk) just sort of scowled at me a lot. Then, Brittany comes running over with a chair and goes, "Lauren's gonna sit here" and pushes me into the chair. I sat and talked to the guys for a little while and the one guy was nice and funny and after a little bit, Brittany comes running back and goes, "hey! You better ask her for her number!" (did I mention Brittany was really drunk?) The guy got all pretend mad and was like, "I was about to!" and held up the phone that he had already taken out to ask for my number. Brittany ran off and the guy (Sean) got my number. He texted me yesterday to see if I wanted to go to a party, but I couldn't since I'm on the island. I wrote back definitely next time though and he said he'd call me. We'll see if he actually does... of course, Brittany and I can't really remember if he was cute. We think he is, but we're not sure. We also think maybe we should drink less next time we go out (though really, it was more the hangover that led to this decision than the inability to remember a random guy's attractiveness level). haha! Anyway, I recommend the hot sauce thing... it works. Of course, I think anytime a drunk girl walks up to a guy, the chances of his talking to her are good. Still, maybe I'll start carrying hot sauce in my purse. haha!
