Pulling myself back together again!!

Hurray for friends and hanging out with people. I have discovered how to make things work this semester.
1)Spend every moment alone doing my work
2)Only play when roommate and friends are in the room
3)No private time till homework is done with.
4)Enjoy all the time along, because you never know when its going to happen again.

I have also learned that sitting without a shower or change of cloths for 4 days = no good. LOL. Yeah, dont ever do that....unless you have no other choise.

I also learned that i can have lots of shit happen to me, and i wont get angry, i'll just change my focus. Case in point: Friday, MSN decides to update because it has some cool new features. I have a ton of fun with it before shutting down for the night at like 1:30AM. I get up Saturday morning, read a book for 3 hours, then play TF2 for like 3 more. After i get off of TF2 i want to get on MSN and mess with the sound stuff some more. Well......MSN (Windows Live) doesnt want to even start. I do all i can to get it to work, but it just doesnt happen. I think it's just the computers RAM being stretched further then normal because of TF2, so i restart the computer....No dice. Still doesnt want to turn on.....again. So after dinner and some more TF2, I fiddle around with uninstalling it, and it just doesnt want to uninstall, even Windows Live Suite (or whatever it is called). I decided to uninstall everything just so i can get the thing reinstalled form the internet. That goes ok, until i find out that i cant get the program installed again...why.....because of a little program that is apart of Windows Live.....Photo Gallery. I think, no problem, i'll just uninstall that one and then it will work, big mistake. When a program needs to be uninstalled, it has a .exe. or a .msi file that it runs to uninstall the programming from the computer. Well, that file didnt exist on my computer, nor do i have the disk that it is supposedly on. So now i have a computer that has 0 MSN and no way for me to talk to some of my friends. In the past i would have pouted and gotten pissed. Not this time ^_^. I decided to move on and figure out other ways to work around it. One of the ways (and i'm glad I remembered it before too long) was that I have a copy of Windows Messenger, that is an old old old version (about 1999-2002) version of what would become MSN and Windows Live. Therefore, I can keep a level head about the situation and not panic because of what is going on.

Oh, and that's not all. My internet decided to give me crap yesterday afternoon. My friend Colby had brought up his wireless router to hook up, so there is better signal strength in the room for laptops. Well, we get it hooked up all fine, but then we need to register it. Well we try to register it, and do it wrong, but the school firewall wont let us mess with it and try it again. So i fire off and e-mail to ICT (I did the e-mail wrong, so they wont respond to me) and then hooked back up my regular internet. Well....It wouldnt let me on...said that i had already registered the connection. Strange, huh? After about 30 mins of fiddling around, i finally was able to get back on the normal internet. ^_^ I was without my precious Yahoo Sports for a while (get it back this afternoon), but i made out ok.

Like i've said before, these problems (along with a few others that are family related) would normally get me really angry and moody. This time around it didnt....why? Because i was able to divert my attention and was able to focus on other things, i was able to get through the day ok. ^_^

PS I hope that was enough for you Tom!!! :-P
