Well, I did end up working that double shift last night. We didn't lose power, which was my big fear, but there was some minor flooding. Speaking of flooding, both roads leading to my development were flooded, so I couldn't get home this morning. Fortunately, I was able to get to my parents' house in NJ. I slept for about three hours then tried to make it home, but the water hasn't receded yet. So I'm back at work now. I'm hopeful that one of the roads will be clear by 11 tonight when I'm done.
Damn, I'm tired. And hot. And even if I did get a shower this morning, I'm still wearing my clothes from yesterday. I feel like an animal.
