Update
Ok, let's see. It's been a while. What's going on in my life?
I'm going to Disney World! Ok, so it's not until December, but I'm really excited. I'm hoping to be able to meet up with anothersuperboy while I'm there, and my sister and I are making our plans for drinking our way around the World Showcase.
Doug came up from Florida for a visit last week and we got to hang out for a while. It was a lot of fun. We went to New Hope, PA and then up to Bethlehem to this awesome restaurant/bar thingy that I definitely need to go back to the next time I have company. Also, I got to meet his new boyfriend, who is a vast improvement on the old one. I'll say one thing though, Doug definitely has a type.
The awesome weekend I had hanging out with Doug and then doing fun stuff with my family was followed by what has to be the worst work week in recent memory. Lots of staffing issues and unexpected craziness culminating in a double shift yesterday (which for me means 3pm until 7 the next morning). I'm going to count today as the beginning of a new week and hope that means things will improve.
I bought my membership and reserved my hotel room for Con*Strict. Still gotta get a plane ticket though. Vegas, baby! Can't wait. I really need this.
I'm trying to work out a plan for a long weekend in Gettysburg some time this summer, but I'm terrible at planning things in advance.
In fannish news, I'm not sure what to make of Doctor Who right now. Also, the Hawaii Five-0 finale was crazy making in a lot of ways above and beyond my general distaste for cliffhangers. Though I'm willing to stick with it for now. Speaking of cliffhangers, I'm looking forward to Haven starting in July.
