I also love the day after Thanksgiving sales! unteins and I got up and were outside of Microcenter this morning at 4:45 a.m., after making a turkey dinner for 8 and then cleaning up (we were in bed well after 1 a.m.). But, we got to get me a 14", brand new ibook! (it's the older version, 1.0 gHz, but its still all mine) and was a sweet deal... I'll let you all know the details later, but I had to let my excitement out.
My last mac was a powerbook that was retired in 1995 at Xmas time, when I dropped it on the floor and broke it while mucking on FDC :) foxmagic has it now working in his mac collection, and I'm glad it went to a good home. Since then, I have had 3 different PCs, (a desktop and two laptops - one of which I didn't own for long... an exboyfriend, after being mad at me, threw out my window and a car drove over it...and my old PC laptop which I am now retiring, after 4 years of owning it.)
So, needless to say, I'm happy :)
