Since I didn't work Wednesday, I took my car to the mechanic to have the turn signal fixed. I also mentioned to the guy that the low coolant light had been coming on so the car probably needed some more antifreeze. I left him the keys and walked to my mom's house. He proceeded to call me back shortly thereafter with some bad news: the car didn't just need antifreeze, but the engine was leaking coolant all over the place and it would be about $900 to repair it. UGH. But I figured, that's okay, I have money in savings, I'll just cough it up and soon enough I'll have a real job and can get a better car. HOWEVER! When I called my dad to ask if I could borrow his Jeep while my car was in the shop, he went into total Dad-mode, called the mechanic for me, and then dropped by the garage yesterday while I was in class and paid for it. THANKS DADDY! I think there was some sort of misunderstanding and he thought I was *asking* him to pay for it, which I wasn't, but hey, I'm not complaining. I need to bake him another pie or something to thank him. Sadly he apparently sold the Jeep, but I was able to borrow my mom's car while she was at work.

So in conclusion, crisis averted. Again. Dang, my life has been pretty close to charmed lately. We had our first dosage calculation test of the semester yesterday, and I feel like it went fine. In fact, I may have gotten 100% on it! The math is really not that hard, but the faculty puts an enormous amount of pressure on the students, so it's easy to psych yourself out. Just a few months left!
