It looks like the tattoo is going to become a reality.  I finally got a chance to talk to the artist last night, and went over the design idea I had for him.  He's got the sketches done, and I'm scheduled to sit in the chair on Jan. 5th to get the initial black and shading done.

So, my question is, does one tip a tattoo artist, and if so, what is the customary method for deciding on the tip amount?
