I think this should have been done a long time ago, but if there's anyone out there that would like to better manage this community, please let me know. There'll be a vetting process. It would be nice if applicants were moderate and enthusiastic, but that might be a little too optimistic given the levels and type of participation in the community. ( Read more... )

No, no, don't delete. This community IS an awesome idea. If nobody else wants to do it, I'd definitely take a shot at it.

Yes, I suppose a response would be helpful. It would be good to keep this community around. I do enjoy the posts when they actually happen.

It would be great to have more posts on smarter ways to smoke, whether that's discussing cellulose rolling papers, or the best vaporizer for your money. Articles on topics like famous/intellectual (and proud to be) potheads, or even just pot news. I also think that throwing out some ideas to incorporate pot smoking with your career could be a lot of fun. I just found out there are pot positive yoga classes where I live, as an example.

I have never been a mod before and I don't know if I'd be any good. I would try though if nobody else is stepping up. It's better than seeing the community deleted.

I think your ideas are good but the community really needs greater participation. There is probably some threshold of membership where the community is self-sustaining but we are clearly not at that point. We need new members, and for that we need to proselytize. The best way to do that is to cross post to other pot smoking communities as this generally does not break their community rules ( ... )
