I live in the USA, but I live in California! Where maybe I can't smoke a joint on my porch or have a pipe on my person, but there are dispensaries just about every 15 feet. And it is certainly no big deal to get caught with anything.

Yes, small amounts and it was confiscated.

That is, they gave your friends a slap on the wrist. Nice of them.

My buddy and I were making a lot of noise one 2am Wednesday morning on the roof of his house watching a meteor shower. The police came and basically just told us to smoke less pot. It was pretty hilarious. My friend who answered the door looked BLAZED.
