MY HOLIDAY
hey there guys!!
im in tenerife!! posting to you!!
havnt got time o check/read everyones posts since i came away as on a time limit type thing where im paying 3euros =1hr to use the net!
tried to get onto my email!but i cant figure out how to get the at key on this keyboard!!and i dont speak spanish so i cant ask!!
oh well! im managing to use LJ cos i found the language change thing on it!!
so here goes!
if you dont want to hear about my holiday in the hot weather then dnt read on!
but read the first day brfore you do that though!then il put the rest behind cuts!when i get chance to update again that is!mite b we i get bak home! as i really wanted to chek email-!& email rob!but cant!

20/10/06-
check in at airport before 2.15pm
flight scheduled to take off 4.15pm
went to sleep at about 3.30am after sorting all my stuff ready to go into my suitcase
woke up at abot 9am ISH & finnished packing stuff int suitcase
left house in cannock at 11.50am
got to manchester airport at 5.30pm!!
admitedly didnt leae cannock til 12.40/45pm as running around doing last errands to make sure taxi company covered while we are away.
TRAFFIC WAS HORRENDIOUS!!!
we sat on m6 motorway for hours, got to junction we could get off at to go a different way do did so, & every way we tried to go there were ques everywhere!
so we missed our original planned/booked/payed for flight!(rang let airort know about troubles¨ovbiously before we were late for our check-in & flight times!)
when we got to airport FINALLY went to airport agencies desk where we had been told to go.
then waited at airport for 3-4hours for another flight, all flights were full so we were waiting for no shows!
in the first hour there was hope!
said had 5 seats on a flight!we went to get cash to pay for the tickets! (as outbound flight tickets were not transferable) 85 cash! wen we came bk 3 of the no shows had turned up just in the nick of time!
at this point felt like we were going to have to drive bak home again tonight!the bloke reassured us that there is hope and that he would do everything he could for us!also there were like 45 other people tht had been delayed/stuk on motorways that were meant to be travelling to tenerife!
mom gave him her mobile number so we could go and find somehwere comfy to sit in the arport & he said hed ring if he gt anything!
SO WE WAITED!! ...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................AT 8.30PM WE GOT A FONE CALL TELLING US TO MEET HIM AT COUNTER 56!(WE WERE ALL NEALLY FALLING ASLEEP,THEN WHEN WE HEARD THAT WE JUMPED INTO ACTION AND SPRINTED TO THE COUNTER!)
cost us 75 each for the outbound ticket! luckily we can still use our inbound original flight tickets to get bak home!
luggage checked in fine!
legged it to the gate, when got there we had to wait for pretty much everyone else to board first as we were ´late arrivals´
we got on the plane & left anchester airport (took off) at 9.50pm ISH
so YAY we´r on holiday!!!
P.S. which weighs more??
