how many people hav heard of the darwin awards? well..i believe my friend Zhi and I have just made the list for one of the stupidest stunts....I was 11:30 at night...and we decided it would be a good idea to head to the top of the intercostal bridge over on las olas blvd and skateboard down it...well..as we were heading over to it...a big gust of wind blows us..and i was on my board...not only did it stop me..it pushed me back a bit..so i look to Zhi and i say "Zhi...you think thats a sign for us not to go" well..zhi and i basically ignore it..and head on anyway. When we get to the top of the hill...zhi says hes not sure..so i say "well..its your call...you dont want to do it..we head back now...no worries" well zhi says "lets go for it...the next half hour..hour maybe it a blur to me...i saw hi fall of his board and hit the ground...and i fall off mine...i run too him and see he's hurt...he has a bad cut above his eye...and im afriad he might have a concusion. So we start off to his house..and i keep him talking to me the whole way...and im trying to keep him calm and positive while theres blood all over his face..i asked the one guy for help..and he tells me to get off his property...so i yell "FUCK YOU!!" then i ask a security guard for help..and he cant help because hes the only one there...and when we finally reach his block...its like another 1.8 mile walk..and ask a kid to give us a lift down to the end of the block..and he wont...so a spat at his jeep and told him to fuck off...i get zhi back to his house..and i let him look at his cut..but then i get his sis to wake his parents...she looked at me like i was joking..and the parents thought he should shower..and get dressed..before we go...or just put a bandage on it...well..i say "he doesnt need a shirt..lets just get him to a hospital" well..we go..and they have zhi put on a warm up jacket thing and we go...i sit with him..and i promised him i wouldnt leave his side..by his request..and i keep him talking...he said he didnt remember the hurricane that happened 2 days earlier...or that his mom was talking to him...we get to the hospital..and the nurses were bitches...but we get him checked in..and he goes to x-ray..and all of that stuff...for me..i had no idea what was going on...all i could do was wait..i was with zhi's family...but i was fearful for my friend...turns out he gets 12 stiches for his eye...we all go home...and we go to bed...our skateboards were stolen..but items can be replaced..im just glad my friend is ok....i leave you with this quote...
