X-posted to fanficrants and discussed at the PPC Posting Board, but I felt that wasn't enough people to share the pain with. So I joined here.
Does anyone here remember Brian Jacques' Redwall series from their younger days?
A while back, I ranted about the Redwall fandom, which for a small fandom can be surprisingly bad. I jokingly said "What's next? Mariel as the leading lady in a weird Lolita-esque version of the infamous "Celebrian" with rats instead of orcs?"
It exists. Along with many other disturbing things which will feature in my nightmares for the rest of my natural lifespan.
Just ... why? Why does this have to exist, and WHY did I have to click the link despite the fact that I don't like even good porn most of the time, and certainly don't like furryporn despite my furryslash obsession?!
I would have done a Subjugation-type sporking here or at Deleterius, but I couldn't bring myself to read more than about a sentence of any of them (though I'd be very much obliged if someone with a stronger stomach than I would plough through them and spork at will).
Never has my icon been so appropriate, and yet it's not me doing the ruining.
I'm going to curl up in a corner and cry now.
Do we have any volunteers to do a full sporking? I don't want to end up lobotomising myself immediately before my GCSEs this summer.
