Holy hell. Dead body. Like 20 feet away from me this afternoon! Riding buses is a dangerous business. One minute you think you're just walking obliviously to get to your next bus, then all of a sudden, dead body in the transit center.
Freaked. Me. Out.
It was roped off, there were police cars, and a body not completely covered by a sheet. I didn't really notice anything out of the ordinary because I couldn't see it(blocked by a wall), I was spacing out and messing with my I-pod, and then there it was. I still don't know if there was another shooting (there was one there last January), or what. Strangely, nothing on the news and nothing on google. Still, I've never seen a dead body. I just got the hell out of there. Ended up at Trader Joe's buying mochi and edamame crisps. Came home after going to the library. Still weirded out. It's a strange and disturbing world we live in.
EDIT: Apparently, the whole thing was a suicide. The guy jumped from the top tier of the parking garage, probably on his head. But get this: this guy was actually associated with Metro and someone at the transit center. Most likely he was fired or had some kind grievance. I don't know about anybody else, but I would think the fiasco would have at least made the news or some at least some kind of news report. The whole thing is pretty much being censored. I guess they don't want people to know that 2 people died there in less than 12 months, especially since the city put so much money into making the transit center and try to portray it as a safe place to be. Stupid Federal Way.
