I'm not your scratching post ...
I'm really tired of pissy people on non-profit boards. The woman in the charge of the upcoming auction this saturday has serious issues. Nothing anyone does will please her (most everything majorly infuriates her) and she actually yelled at me for sending thank you notes for people who couldn't attend the auction and sent in a donation. Take a chill pill. I think she's going to totally tweak out at the event.
In any case, the kitty thinks I'm his scratching post. He claws everything-probably just for the hell of it since he hasn't been able to use his claws in a while(not the furniture, thankfully. But still, I'm not your kneading pad, kitty! He's also drooling all the time. I wonder what that's all about. We have an appointment at the vet on saturday, so hopefully they can tell us what's up with that. Plus he needs shots in case he becomes an outside kitty. I think he's also getting a cold-I heard some massive coughing today. But if he has an upper respiratory infection, the shelter will give us the antibiotics for free. On another note, I got him a collar and he was pissed off at me. He went into hiding yesterday until 10 PM. Too bad Ripley! I think wearing a collar is a very mild request considering everything else. I got him a mouse too. That's a funny sight to see. Maybe he'll stop hiding soon. That would be nice.
