Well, I guess I'll do one of those updates...
I've extended the lease on my current place until September 2nd, because that's when I thought my current job would end. Well, I found out that I will have one less pay week going into vacation than I thought... That sucks ass. But, this will give me time to clean and pack, since I know that it will wait until the last possible moment. It seems that I will be moving in with a friend in October, which is good. But, it's not finalized, as we still have some details that we need to go over. It's not where I would want to live, but hey, if you're in a situation, you really can't complain too much when a solution comes along.
So far, it doesn't look like I'll be offered to stay on. I'll ask him tomorrow, I guess. I really hate working the night shift, which is what I'm doing this week. It makes me depressed. For serious. I feel like I've wasted an entire day, since I can't do anything after work. And, I feel like I won't have time to do anything before work, unless I wake up at like 7am. But, I guess having to worry about that isn't so bad, since I have a job. Which will not be the case in a couple of weeks. I should get to correcting that. Hm. It looks like there's a lot of openings at HSBC. Maybe I'll apply there, for different areas than branch service.
My car needs new brakes and rotors, which is supposed to run me $400. I need to see about getting that done as well. Too many things I don't want to think about...
