Crazy Student Update
Turns out the girl who was in need of $3000 has been fighting with her family a lot lately. She had said that if she didn't get the money by today she was going to run away to Osaka with some other student.
Today has come and gone and she is now back at home.
Apparently this whole dispute had occurred because her parents wanted her to dye her hair back from brown to black. Japanese school kids aren't supposed to have dyed hair. The whole money thing was so that she could run away, or so I assume.
