Meredith Series: January 6th and 7th
The 6th was spent with a bit of shopping and some packing. I made a nice dinner for Meredith and we rented some more movies to watch. We decided this time on Ray and The Highlander.
The 7th was a cold windy day. We woke up in time to get to the airport and hour before Meredith would leave. A decision I began to regret when we learned that the train we planned to take to the airport wasn’t running that day AND all trains to the airport were stopping at the stop before due to high winds (Kansai airport is on a manmade island). We had to take a bus from the last stop instead. During all of this I was worried that Meredith wouldn’t make her flight so it was a bit stressful. We did get to say goodbye, but it was unfortunately a bit rushed. But it still couldn’t over shadow the fact that we had an insanely good time while she was here and we got to see each other for Christmas and New Year’s.
