Misinterpretation

Hehe. I wrote "Under the note were a knife and a handgun." That sounds like some sort of suicide story. *snickers*

Actually, I don't know why, but it doesn't sound like a suicide story to me. It sounds dangerous and edgy and I want to read more.

And I have a character who wants to be involved, but she wants the knife, handgun, and a nice flowery lace-edged stationary kind of note.

She is an odd bird. /aside

*sigh*

Not particularly dangerous OR edgy.

But I give your odd bird complete leave to use that sentence and run with it!

Sounds like Serial Rediscovery to me... *bounce bounce bounce*

:) It is coming along, but slowly. But in a way I'm glad it's going slowly, as this thing is less about any particular plot than about how they get from point a to point b, and I have been thinking of stuff that needs to be done to it as I read and reread it.

However...

I may end up wanting to punt this over to you for a *real* beta - I'm not entirely happy with the important conversation between Sam and Daniel, and I have been scowling long enough at it that maybe I'd like an opinion...

Always a pleasure. I can't write WIPs. I always come up with stuff that I want to go back and stick in the beginning.
