the busiest weekend ever
Well, I managed to do the following in one weekend:
* Play two shows (awesome sets too) with my band, Glori5
* Drive to Chicago and back
* Visit two museums
* Do a little geek shopping at the Apple store
* Have a little vaca with the wife and her folks
It was a blast, but I'm pretty whipped. It didn't help that on Monday, our entire company lost power and it turned into a madhouse of "who can turn off the servers fastest!". The power tripped a breaker on the A/C units, and the business people were intent on getting things back up and running so we were running million dollar mainframes in 100-degree temps for about 30 minutes.
Fun! But the cool thing is that Glori5 has many more shows coming up. If they go like the past two, we'll be all set. We've been practicing a lot, and I think it's helping us get tight. The mini-east coast tour in April will be amazing.
