2008 Election
I am supporting and casting my vote for Sen. Barack Obama (Illinois) for the President of the United States of America. I did the research on Barack Obama and the Republican Candidate John McCain (Arizona), and I found out that I agree with Obama on many more issues than I do with McCain. I'm also a Democrat lol.
I do not agree with the onslaught of attacks that Barack Obama is a terrorist. I do not believe that he will bring terrorism into the United States. We already have people that do that and Barack Obama is not one of them.
I believe that we need changed to keep our failing country from becoming a disaster more than it already is. Barack Obama is the change we need. John McCain, if elected, would be like if George W. Bush was still in office. He wouldn't do much to help out the general population of America. John McCain is not what we need. I know that a lot more conservative Christians are supporters of McCain and fundamentalists also. People who are more active in church are more in support for McCain for being against abortion and progress on LGBT rights.
No matter who gets elected, we're still screwed though. Our country, in the last eight years has been on a decline and nothing can really pull us out now.
I believe that Barack Obama will help bring America back to where it should be or will make more progress than McCain. If McCain is elected.....we won't get anywhere. He's got Sarah Palin as his running mate, and if anything were to happen to McCain ....we're FUCKED.

5. Global Warming
6. Automobile Standards
7. Affirmitive Action
8. Disability Issues
9. Draft
10. NASA
11. Stem Cell Research
