"I'm fine," Tenma says irritably, brushing her off. "Nothing can kill me."
"Right up until the day that something does," she mutters, wishing he could just make things *easy* for once. Why couldn't he just let her fuss? But no, he never does. The others get into trouble at various times, but anything big and flashy and horrible? Always, always Tenma. She'd never forget watching him hurtle through the air, turning end over end, that tiny speck becoming larger and larger --
Still didn't quite know how he'd managed to equip in time.

He groans as she moves above him, fingers tightening on her hips. "I thought you were dead," she says accusingly.
"Mika..."
"Tenma," she breathes. She's not quite sure if he's pleading, or arguing. But because she was worried and they've never been good at talking, she just smacks him lightly on the shoulder. He arches up into her, eyes glazing over.
Typical. Of course *that* would turn him on.
She smacks him again, and he shouts as he comes. She falls after him, over the edge, a moment later.
