(no subject)
this week has been alright. i had my Douglas Anderson audition and interview yesterday. it took so long because the entire gym was jammed with kids (mostly 8th graders from La Villa) that wanted to be in DA. i finally just shoved some saxophone players aside and went in the room. there were more saxes than any other section. anyway...i did pretty well, he only asked for a few scales and my prepared music, and it was on my new oboe so it sounded really pretty. then in the interview he kept talking about the time commitment and everything, but i said i wouldn't mind because i would rather spend my time on music than much else. i'm pretty sure i'll make it, i definitely have the grades, the only problem i have with it is that i'd have to take 8 classes instead of 6. well i have to go my buddy is on the phone (i love taylor!!)
