Brain sabotage
I got 3892 words of 5100 for 3 days. Still a little behind on the count, but I don't feel I can go farther before I get some more info on a few things. So, a little research, and I'll make up the 1200 words over time.
I notice, as I write, my brain trying to sabotage me. "Wouldn't this be a great idea?" it says.
"No, not now brain! Bad Bad brain, do NOT show me shiny ideas."
"..."
"Have to admit though, it IS a good one..."
"Better than the one you're doing?"
"NO! Maybe... It's good. Stick with the plan."
"Can we stick Cthulu in there?"
"NO!"
"Just a little one... right there. No one would notice."
And so on.
Must be strong.
