...So Quickly, actually.
I know, I know, it's been forever and a half, and even I've lost track of how many hiatuses there have been by now. (Five or six, I believe, but don't quote me on that.)
True to form, a lot of interesting things have happened in my absence. The Writers' Strike, of course, has come to an end, and it appears that a looming Actors' Strike has been narrowly avoided. The 2007-08 television season resumed production, just early enough for most shows to make a truncated return. (The Office managed to get five new episodes in the can, including a one-hour season finale.)
I finished my second year of University, of course. Two more years to go, give or take perhaps a summer or two. Once again, I passed my French with flying colours - without doubt my proudest achievement at University.
Furthermore, I recently went away on vacation, to Quebec City (which I last visited in eighth grade - a stunning seven years ago) and Ottawa (which I have never visited). Really lovely cities, the both of them - Quebec in particular is something really special. The highlight of our nation's capital was, of course, the Parliament buildings - they are much more impressive than when seen on television.
There's no way I can list all the highlights and lowlights of the nine (!) months during which I have been absent in a single post, so I won't - there will be several, over the next few days or so. Until then!
